Jamulus consists of servers and clients.
In the diagram at the right, in the center we see a server out in the internet cloud. This server provides a "room" where people can enter, and play together.
Connected to this server, like spokes in a wheel, we see multiple musicians. These clients. These people use the Jamulus client software to connect to the Server.
right now, out on the internest, there are over 200 Jamulus server "rooms." KalamaJam hosts several of these.

Abe Savas & the New Standards of Beauty are a collective of musicians that perform the songs of longtime Kalamazoo singer-songwriter Abe Savas. The moniker was first used rather cheekily for solo open mic performances in the early 2010’s and became a full-fledged project with Savas’s first album, Love Cabal, released in 2023. Since then there have been several recordings and sporadic gigs with a rotating cast of players. For Sounds of the Zoo 2026, Savas has recruited Kalamazoo and West Michigan area musicians Phil Barry (guitar), Mike Fuerst (bass), Sarah Fuerst (vocals), Emily Grabinski-Conklin (keboards), Bill Jones (guitar), Jeff Moehle (drums), and Jarad Selner (saxophone).
